3d Ultimate Pro Machine

We offer two types of Cellulite treatment at Dr Leah Clinic.

The first is our innovative 3d Ultimate Pro Machine. This state-of-the-art device allows us to offer the most up-to-date and advanced cellulite reduction treatment on the global aesthetic market. This award-winning platform allows us to combine three treatments in one - radiofrequency heat treatment, vacuums skin rollers and shockwave treatment. These treatments work to eradicate the cells that cause cellulite, forcing them to leave the body via your lymphatic system. With the help of this award-winning cellulite machine we can drastically reduce the visibility of your cellulite.

  • The treatment is non-invasive and takes just over 1 hour. During which time 3 different treatment modalities provided by the machine are used to combat cellulite:
  • Radiofrequency heat treatment - The uneven distribution of fat cells causes cellulite, this treatment uses radiofrequency to stimulate fat breakdown in targeted areas. This causes focal reduction of fat leaving smoother skin
  • Vacuum roller treatment- vacuum roller sucks up and irons out the skin to give a smoother, less dimpled appearance, by sucking up your skin and rollering it down it smooth over pockets of loose or dimpled skin making your skin more smooth and firm. It also stimulates the excretion of the fat cells broken down from radio frequency from the body.
  • Shockwave treatment – this stimulates blood circulation to the area and speeds up lymph drainage to stimulate the excretion of toxins

Lanluma V

Another popular treatment that we offer at Dr Leah Clinic for impressive smoothing of cellulite. This is a non-surgical, injectable cellulite treatment that utilizes a ground-breaking PLLA formula to improve the appearance of cellulite by activating the natural production of collagen in the skin, leading to smoother skin and reduced cellulite. It is suitable for adults of all genders and ages. The results of Lanluma gradually  improve over a period of weeks with final results achieved after two to three months. Impressively the results can last up to two years or longer, although this may differ for each person. The treatment has minimal downtime and is relatively pain-free.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DOES THE CELLULITE TREATMENT WORK?

Although the exact cause of cellulite is unknown it is thought to be caused by toxin build up causing fat cells to gather and tether under the skin in areas where there are a high number of fat cells present – on women this tends to be the thighs and bum area. Through a combination of Radio frequency, vacuums and skin rollers and shockwave treatment the fat cells responsible for the appearance of cellulite are eradicated and the tethered skin attached to these cells is smoothed out, with circulation and lymph drainage to the area improved. This drastically reduces the visibility of cellulite.

WHAT IS CELLULITE?

Cellulite is the lumpy appearance of skin commonly found on the thighs, stomach, and buttocks. This benign condition mostly occurs in women due to differences in fat distribution. The underlying fat pushes between the connective tissue beneath the skin, making the surface look bumpy. It is a purely cosmetic issue and does not indicate any underlying medical illness. Around 80-90% of post-adolescent women have some degree of cellulite present1.

WHAT ARE THE CASUES OF CELLULITE?

Cellulite can occur due to many reasons and most of them involve physiological changes. The main reason for such an appearance is the loosening of underlying connective tissue. The degree to which cellulite is visible depends on many factors but the most common include:

1. Hormonal Factors
Female hormones like oestrogen play the most dominant role in the development of cellulite. That is why this condition most commonly affects women. Men who lack androgens also develop this condition.

2. Sedentary lifestyle:
Women who exercise more are less likely to have visible cellulite as compared to those who have low physical activity.

3. Ageing:
The skin loses elasticity with increasing age and loses its tone and elasticity. Cellulite tends to become worse with age.

WHAT ARE THE COMMON SIGNS OF CELLULITE?

Cellulite can make the skin appear similar to an “orange peel”. The nodular appearance mostly occurs in the hips but can also appear in the breast, upper arms, and flanks.

Cellulite can now be treated using modern techniques that involve using machines like 3D Ultimate Pro. The procedures use radiofrequency to stimulate fat breakdown in targeted areas. This causes focal reduction of fat leaving tighter and smoother skin after the treatment.

DOES TREATMENT WITH 3D ULTIMATE PRO CAUSE ANY PAIN?

The procedure is completely non-invasive and is pain-free.

ARE THERE ANY PRECAUTIONS TO BE AWARE OF?

Treatment with radiofrequency is contraindicated in pregnant patients and patients with heart conditions.

FOR WHOM IS THE CELLULITE TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?

Aside from pregnant and breastfeeding women, anyone who would like to get rid of their cellulite is welcome to undergo this procedure. Our cellulite treatment is completely non-invasive, and so you will be able to resume your daily routine immediately after each course of cellulite removal.*

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

You may notice some redness in the treated area for up to 24 hours after cellulite treatment. A full list of side effects, cautions, and contraindications will be discussed during your face-to-face consultation.

Do I need to do anything after my cellulite treatment?

Adequate hydration to stimulate lymph drainage is important, recommend 1.5-2L of water per day during your period of treatment.

HOW TO GET RID OF CELLULITE?

When looking into – how to get rid of cellulite, it is important to note that a combination of diet and lifestyle choices as well as in clinic treatments are likely to required to obtain and sustain a good cellulite reduction results. There is unlikely to be complete cellulite removal with any treatment. However, by combining the Dr Leah Cellulite treatment with a healthy diet and active lifestyle, the appearance of cellulite can be greatly improved.
