The Benefits of Polynucleotide Treatment for Under Eye Rejuvenation

Polynucleotide therapy stands as the 'Gold Standard' for:

  • Reducing dark circles,
  • Smoothing Crow's feet and fine lines beneath the eyes
  • Enhancing skin hydration and circulation in this delicate area.

Conventional tear trough fillers rely on hyaluronic acid and primarily add volume which can cause potential prolonged swelling and puffiness, In comparison, Polynucleotide treatment adopts a more holistic approach - enhancing the under-eye skin's quality by encouraging the body's natural regenerative processes. By steering clear of simply 'filling out' the area with filler, Polynucleotide treatment.

As a result, Polynucleotide treatment is the best under-eye treatment for addressing a variety of concerns related to aging, lifestyle factors, or genetic predispositions, yielding a radiant and revitalized eye area.

The Polynucleotide Under-Eye Process

Consultation and Assessment -During your initial consultation, we take the time to understand your specifi concerns, expectations, and desired outcomes. Our cosmetic doctors will assess your under-eye area, considering factors such as skin quality, pigmentation, texture, and any existing fine lines or wrinkles

Treatment Plan -Following your consultation, our cosmetic doctors will develop a tailored treatment plan specifically designed to address your unique needs and will detail how many Polynucleotide Treatments you will need (normal is 2 treatments each 1 month apart)

Preparation -On the day of your treatment your first treatment can be performed if you wish - your cosmetic doctors will prepare your under-eye area for treatment. A numbing cream can be applied to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment.

Polynucleotide Injection -Cannula is normally used to carefully inject the Polynucleotide solution into the under eye area. The injections are strategically placed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles under eyes.

Post-Treatment Care and Recovery - Following the treatment, you will be provided with post-treatment care instructions. It is important to follow these guidelines to ensure optimal healing and results. You may experience mild swelling under the eyes on the day of treatment which normally resolves within 24 hours.

Follow-Up and Results -If this is your first time having Polynucleotide treatment you will require a second treatment in 1 months time. We then advise a top up treatment every 6-9 months to sustain your result. While some initial results may be visible soon after the treatment, the full benefits of Polynucleotide under-eye rejuvenation tend to be seen after two treatments as collagen production is stimulated and the skin rejuvenates.

Polynucleotide Treatment Reviews

Here’s what our clients have to say…
Best treatment for dark circles and trust me I have tried everything! After 2 sessions of Polynucleotide with the amazing Dr Cian my dark circles are so much improved. Thank you!

Beena, 43
My eyes have always been my problem area, Dr Sidra advised I would need to have both morpheus8 and Polynucleotide to make me look less tired and old because of my eyes, it has provided me with a lovely improvement. I would like to recommend morpheus8 and polynucleotide for someone who has aged eyes. Thank you and see you soon!

Ruth, 57
I had puffiness from my tear trough filler and had to have it dissolved but I still needed something for my under eye as I looked hollow and wrinkled there, I saw on Instagram that Dr Leah Clinic offered a new treatment for under eyes so booked to see Dr Leah who suggested Polynucleotide injections for under my eyes, I have had 3 sessions and the results are literally perfect and NO PUFFINESS. Anyone considering tear trough filler NEEDS to have this instead!

Shannon, 34

TREATMENT FAQS

How long do Polymononuclotide Eyes last

The effects of Polymononucleotide Eyes tend to last 6-9 months after two treatments. Patients typically require two treatments, 4 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results and then a top up session every 6-9 months to sustain the results.

What is the downtime?

The Polynucleotide treatment is minimally invasive, commonly clients experience swelling for 24 hours after treatment. The procedure is performed by our highly skilled doctors at Dr Leah, ensuring precise delivery of the treatment while minimising any discomfort. You can expect minimal downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities the day after treatment.

What is the difference between Polynucleotide Eye treatment and traditional under eye filler/Tear Trough Filler

polynucleotides (PN) is a very thin water-like substance which improves skin quality whereas traditional under eye filler/Tear Trough filler is hyaluronic acid which is a much more viscous substance and is designed to fill hollows under eyes.

Polynucleotide treatment works with the body's DNA to promote cellular regeneration. This innovative treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, which are essential proteins for maintaining the skin's structure and elasticity and works to treat fine lines and dark eye circles.

There has been a recent rise in searches for ‘under eye fillers gone wrong’ this is due to the fact that hyaluronic acid-based fillers in tear trough filler can sometimes make the under-eye area appear puffier, as hyaluronic acid attracts water and can migrate. Polymononucleotide eyes will not ‘fill’ the under eye area and will not cause puffiness or migration of the product. With Nucleadyn Eyes the focus is on achieving natural-looking results that enhance the skin's elasticity, reduce pigmentation and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

Can under eye fillers go wrong?

There are cases of puffiness under eyes caused by convectional under eye filler and there are cases of dermal filler migration, as a result we now offer a new under eye treatment called Polymononucleotide.

IS THE POLYNUCLEOTIDE UNDER EYE TREATMENT SAFE?

While the idea of undergoing a cosmetic procedure around the delicate under-eye area can be intimidating, Polynucleotide Treatment ensures both safety and comfort for patients. The treatment is carried out using a cannula, similar to traditional fillers, minimizing discomfort and reducing the risk of bruising. Although the procedure may cause some mild stinging, it is generally well-tolerated and over within minutes.

What are the key benefits of the Polynucleotide treatment?

1.Minimise Dark Circles - One of the primary concerns for many individuals is the presence of dark circles under the eyes. Polynucleotide treatment reduces the pigmentation and discoloration that contribute to the appearance of these dark circles. Impressively, results show that Polynucleotide Eyes improves under eye brightness in individuals by over 32 percent in as little as 4 weeks.

2.Improves Skin Elasticity - Loss of skin elasticity is a common sign of aging, leading to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Polynucleotide Eyes promotes greater skin elasticity, restoring a more youthful and supple appearance to the under-eye area. Polynucleotide Eyes is proven to increase skin elasticity by 22 percent on average in just weeks.

3.Reduces the look of under-eye hollows - Deep tear troughs can create a tired and sunken look. While Polynucleotide Eyes does not fill out these hollows like traditional filler, the treatment does help to subtly reduce the appearance of these under-eye depressions by plumping and rejuvenating the skin in this area.

4.Increases Cell Turnover - Cell turnover is essential for maintaining healthy and vibrant skin. Polynucleotide Treatment increases cell turnover, resulting in a fresher and more rejuvenated under-eye area.
Protects Against Free Radical Damage - Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage the skin and accelerate the aging process. Polynucleotide eyes possesses antioxidant properties that help protect the under-eye area from free radical damage, promoting overall skin health.

5.Hydrated under eyes - Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin that helps retain moisture and maintain hydration. Polynucleotide Eyes stimulates higher hyaluronic acid synthesis, ensuring that the under-eye area remains hydrated and plump.

6.Minimises Fine Lines and Wrinkles - Fine lines and wrinkles can be a source of frustration for many individuals. Polynucleotide Treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production. The improved skin elasticity reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, helping to promote a smoother under-eye area
Improved Skin Texture - Polynucleotides have the ability to improve skin texture, creating a smoother and more refined under-eye area. This treatment can help reduce the appearance of roughness and unevenness, resulting in a refreshed and youthful look.
